Why Truth Cuts Deep (And Why That Sting Is Your Salvation)
The Kingdom Demands Surrender Before It Offers Peace
Everyone says they want the truth.
But the truth is — most people don’t. They want comfort, not correction. They want forgiveness, not obedience. They want smooth words, not the sword of God’s Word.
That’s why real truth hurts. It doesn’t just inform — it cuts.
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit…”
—Hebrews 4:12
God’s truth is not soft, vague, or up for debate.
It exposes sin.
It convicts the heart.
It demands change.
That’s why Jesus (Yahshua) was crucified. Not for being kind — but for being right. He told religious leaders they were blind guides. He told sinners to go and sin no more. He told the world it was deceived — and most still are.
The same Yahshua of Nazareth who healed the sick also said,
“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
—Luke 13:3
Today, most churches won’t quote that. They avoid the sharp edges. They preach a gospel of belief without repentance, grace without law, salvation without submission.
But that is not the gospel Christ preached.
The true gospel — the gospel of the Kingdom of God — demands full surrender to God’s authority. It commands you to turn from your ways and prepare for a literal government that will soon replace every nation on Earth.
You cannot accept Him as Lord, Savior, and King while rejecting His message.
If the truth makes you uncomfortable, good. It means your conscience isn’t dead.
God’s truth will cut you — yes. But it cuts to heal. To cleanse. To save.
It may sting now — but it will save your soul forever.
Coming Tomorrow:
Christ came preaching the gospel. But it’s not the gospel you’ve been told.
