The 60% Problem: Why ‘Almost’ Is Still a Threat
Iran’s uranium wasn’t weapons-grade — but it was close enough to get bombed. What does that say about your spiritual life?
On June 21, 2025, the U.S. bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The reason?
Iran was enriching uranium to 60%.
That’s not weapons-grade — but it’s close. Very close.
Nuclear experts say going from 60% to 90% enrichment — what you need for a bomb — is a matter of days, not months. So even though Iran wasn’t there yet, they were close enough to trigger military action.
Regardless of Iran’s stated intent that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, the perceived threat was enough to provoke a response.
Whether or not the strike was justified, the spiritual lesson is the same:
“Almost dangerous” is dangerous enough.
And with God, “almost obedient” is still disobedient.
God doesn’t measure you by how close you are to obedience.
He calls for full surrender.
You can be 60% honest. 60% pure. 60% obedient.
But 60% obedience is still 40% rebellion.
“Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”
— James 2:10
Almost righteous is still unrighteous. Almost saved is still lost.
Christ didn’t die to make you almost holy.
He died to make you completely clean — to prepare you for the Kingdom of God, the real government He will soon establish on this earth.
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
— Matthew 5:48
That doesn’t mean flawlessness in the flesh. It means total loyalty. Complete commitment. Anything less is compromise. And compromise invites judgment.
The Kingdom of God is coming.
It’s not a feeling in your heart — it’s a world-ruling government led by Christ, powered by law, peace, and justice.
And only those who fully repent and obey will enter it.
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life.”
— Revelation 22:14 (KJV)
Partial submission isn’t enough. God doesn’t negotiate the terms of salvation.
Iran’s nuclear program wasn’t complete. But it was close enough to burn.
And if your life is stuck at 60% commitment, you’re not safe either.
Repent. Obey. Go all in.
Because the time is short — and the Kingdom is near.
