Jesus Didn’t Come to Start a Religion. He Came to Start a Government.

The Kingdom of God isn’t a metaphor. It’s a takeover. And Jesus is coming to lead it.

Most churches preach Jesus as a Savior.
Few dare to preach Him as a King.

That’s the problem.

We’ve turned the Kingdom of God into a feeling,
a metaphor,
or a place we go when we die.

But that’s not what Jesus preached.

“Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”
Mark 1:15

He didn’t say the Kingdom was in your heart.
He said it was coming.
With power.

“In the days of these kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.”
Daniel 2:44

A real government.
One that will replace — and yes, crush — every nation on earth.

Sound radical?
That’s exactly why Jesus was executed.

Not for healing.
Not for loving.
But for claiming to be a King.

A threat to Rome.
A threat to the priests.
A threat to the system.

“My Kingdom is not of this world...
for this cause I was born.”
John 18:36–37

(Note: I use “Jesus” here for familiarity, but His real name in Hebrew is Yahshua — the name the angel gave Him before His birth, and the name He bore in life, death, and resurrection.)

That message — the gospel of the Kingdom — was buried under centuries of tradition and feel-good sermons.
Some held onto pieces of it.
Most lost it altogether.

Today’s churches focus on salvation, love, grace…
But rarely the core message He actually preached:

A world-ruling Kingdom is coming.
And Christ will be King.

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ,
and He shall reign forever and ever.”
Revelation 11:15

This isn’t wishful thinking.
It’s not symbolism.
It’s a regime change.

Governments falling.
New rulers taking power.
A literal Kingdom with real authority.

And Christ won’t rule alone.

“They shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10

It’s those who follow Him faithfully —
raised in the resurrection,
appointed to govern with Him.

Yahshua didn’t come to start Christianity.
He came to declare the Kingdom.
And when He returns,
He’s not coming as a teacher.

He’s coming as a ruler — whether we’re ready or not.
